    Baghdad/National News Center
The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, revealed today, Friday, an agreement with the federal government regarding the party's return to Kirkuk province.
"Currently, there are no plans for the Peshmerga to return to Kirkuk and the disputed areas according to the constitution," Zebari said in a post on his Facebook page.
He explained, "What happened from the understandings between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government is the return of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's candidates and their exploitation of the party headquarters to start the electoral campaign in accordance with the election law and to ensure the freedom and movement of all candidates in all provinces without obstructions or provocations."
Zebari added: "We hope that all parties will observe the election law, to be free, fair and just."
