On Saturday, the Islamic Dawa Party issued a position on what it called the Normalization and Betrayal Conference in Erbil.
The party said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, a copy of it: "We followed with strong condemnation the convening of a conference of a group of people who represent nothing but themselves and do not express the reality of Iraqis with all their components, and they call for normalization and joining agreements of shame and disgrace with the Zionist entity, within the axis of bargaining, Which is destined for disappointment and loss, in front of the will of the peoples and resistance.
He added, "Promoting the relationship and normalization with the usurping Zionist enemy is a legal crime in accordance with the Iraqi Penal Code, and the judicial and governmental authorities should take the initiative to prosecute the advocates of this condemned gathering, its speakers and participants in preparing for it and facilitating its convening."
The party called on the loyal and jealous national forces to "a united position on this treacherous project that distorts the bright history of our proud people and their courageous and steadfast positions in support of the Palestinian cause always and throughout the history of struggle and jihad for the resistance and wounded Palestinian people, who are waiting for solidarity and support from their brothers while standing tall before barbarism." The Zionist enemy and its crimes, and it is not Najla’s stab in the back by pretenders.”
And he indicated, "This conference revealed the mask of the faces that used to claim patriotism and raise false slogans before and after, so that Iraqis can distinguish between those who traffic in principles and this sacred cause, and those who adhere to it and defend it in truth, not deception, from peoples, states, benevolent political forces and loyal personalities."
He explained, "Our Iraqi people consider this conference a betrayal of their creed, values and national positions, and a denial of the reality of the Iraqi position, the government, the people, political forces, organizations and popular activities categorically rejecting any level of relations and normalization with this foundling entity."
He continued, "The convening of this conference at this time and on the eve of the early elections did not come in vain, but rather came to mix papers, aiming to confuse the political reality, and divert public opinion away from its urgent concerns, fateful issues and constitutional entitlements."
He pointed out, "The mobilization of ISIS and this gathering in this difficult stage have one goal, and behind them are internal and external parties with subversive agendas. They do not want Iraq to stability and goodness, but rather seek to keep it dependent on endless attrition conflicts." Ended 29/A43
