The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee determined, on Sunday, the fate of the mandatory service laws, national security and intelligence.
The head of the committee, Muhammad Reda, said, “The Security and Defense Committee hoped that the laws of the National Security Agency and the Intelligence Service would reach the committee at an early date,” noting that “the two laws arrived at the committee late and there is not enough time to read them a first and second reading, and there were no parliamentary sessions. ".
He pointed out that "the Compulsory Service Law has not yet reached the Committee, but rather reached the Presidency," stressing that "the Committee supports the legislation of the Compulsory Service Law to give Iraq support and impetus at the level of strength and defense and at the level of youth present to receive salaries, in addition to military culture and patriotism, and we hope at the next session to vote on it."
He added that "the two laws of the National Security and the Intelligence Service arrived at the committee a week ago, but the mandatory service did not reach the committee, and the three laws will be carried over to the next parliamentary session." Ended 29 / h
