National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji received, on Sunday, the interim Libyan Chargé d'Affairs in Iraq, Al-Said Ali Al-Said.
A statement from Al-Araji's office said that "during the meeting, they reviewed the political and security situation in the region, and discussed strengthening cooperation and developing relations between the two brotherly countries."
Al-Araji stressed, during the meeting, "Iraq's position in support of the Libyan people's choices and overcoming difficulties."
The two sides discussed cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and drying up its sources, exchanging intelligence information on terrorists, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
