{Political: Al Furat News} The candidate of the National State Forces Alliance, Abbas Sarout, confirmed that the amnesty for those who seized Iraqi funds smuggled abroad is still not activated.
Sarout told {Euphrates News}: "There were proposals in the House of Representatives that these funds are outside Iraq and Iraq to be used, so there was a decision to give a percentage of it to the owners whose names Iraqi funds abroad and to retrieve the rest and there will be an amnesty for them, but it has not been done so far."
Regarding the work of the Parliament, he ruled out the terms of any session before the early elections, which only have 13 days left.
He said, "In my opinion, I do not think that there is a remaining session of the House of Representatives, and a week ago, the quorum did not reach 50% because the candidates are busy in their electoral campaigns and time is short."
He pointed out that "most of the Shiite deputies visit the forty and they have other obligations, so I do not think that the House of Representatives will hold a session during this period because it is a short period and it is difficult to complete the quorum for the remainder of the parliament's life."
