, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Thamer Theban, confirmed, on Wednesday, that the demands to dissolve the Popular Mobilization Forces are behind the bankrupt political calls of some parties.
Theban said in a televised statement, followed by "Mawazine News", that "the popular crowd is the backbone of the army and other security forces," noting that "bankrupt political calls stand behind the demands to dissolve the crowd."
He added that "the crowd is the striking and supporting force of our security forces in protecting the borders from the infiltration of terrorist gangs into Iraq," noting that "some political parties are affected by the presence of the popular crowd." Ended 29/A 4
