The Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, received, on Wednesday, the Korean ambassador in Baghdad (Jang Kyung-wook), and during the meeting, they discussed strengthening joint cooperation in the field of developing the oil and gas industry and the energy sector in Iraq.
A statement by the ministry, of which Mawazine News received a copy, said that the minister stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, pointing to the volume of cooperation with Korean companies working in the Iraqi oil sector and the ministry's keenness to implement projects to invest in gas in an optimal way in support of the national economy.
For his part, the Korean ambassador expressed his country's desire to increase and strengthen joint cooperation between the two countries in the oil, gas and energy sectors. Ended 29/R77
