The Iraqi Finance stops transferring the funds of “their contracts voided” to the Popular Mobilization Committee

Finance Minister Ali Allawi decided to stop the transfer of funds, including the allocations of their contracts, to the Popular Mobilization Authority, due to the “lack of matching monthly funds” in the trial balances.

An official letter issued by the minister indicated to “People”, a copy of it, (October 2, 2021), that “the implementation of the transfers mentioned in Order (4690) will be suspended on September 13, 2021, until all financial statements, including expenses and advances, are shown and matched with Funds in coordination with the Accounting Department.
