A member of the committee, Rashid Al-Azzawi, said, according to the official newspaper, that "Parliament does not need to hold a session to dissolve itself, but tomorrow it will dissolve automatically, provided that elections are held on time, and if something happens to prevent the holding of elections, Parliament will return to carrying out its duties and completing its constitutional term."
He added that "the results of the elections will be announced within 24 hours, and then go for approval in the Federal Court, and the appeals submitted will also be considered, so the duration of the first sessions of the new parliament is unknown."
Al-Azzawi expected that "the elections will proceed normally because the Independent Electoral Commission has taken many measures to prevent fraud in the elections, and its procedures are very excellent, and its instructions will greatly reduce fraud." Ended 29/A43
