    The "Sadr bloc" in Iraq, led by Muqtada al-Sadr, topped the results of the primary parliamentary elections, after obtaining 73 parliamentary seats.
    The Progress coalition led by former Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi won 43 seats, then the State of Law coalition led by Nuri al-Maliki won 37 seats, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Massoud Barzani won 32 seats, while the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan won 17 parliamentary seats.
