Integrity: Recruiting the former Minister of Electricity and officials in the ministry against the background of the fuel waste contract

{Local: Al Furat News} The Federal Integrity Commission revealed the details of the recruitment order issued against the former Minister of Electricity and a number of ministry officials, explaining that the order came against the background of violations committed in the fuel waste contract.
And the investigations department of the authority indicated, according to a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that “the second Karkh investigation court issued summons orders against the former Minister of Electricity, the former Deputy Minister for Production Affairs and the director of the Fuel Center, based on the provisions of Article (331) of the Penal Code. ".
And the department added, "The order came against the background of violations committed in Contract No. (40) between the Ministry of Electricity - the General Electricity Production Company - Central Region and one of the private companies specialized in oil services and charged with treating fuel waste and replacing it with gas oil at a rate of (20%) of those. Residues".
She explained, "The committee composed of Parliamentary Order No. 62 entrusted with the tasks of investigating the contracts of the Ministry of Electricity and the membership of the authority revealed in its report announced by the Director General of the Investigation Department a statistic about the number of defendants in the penal cases of the Ministry of Electricity, which included (2654) defendants." Among them are (7) ministers, (5) deputy ministers, (127) general managers, and (2422) employees of a lower position.
