{Local: Al Furat News} The Federal Integrity Commission revealed that it was able to seize non-fundamentalist real estate mortgage transactions, while it indicated that the judiciary issued arrest warrants against the defendants responsible for completing loans disbursed under those transactions.
The commission's investigation department indicated, according to a statement received by {Euphrates News}, that "the operation, which was carried out according to a judicial memorandum, reported that it had received information about the existence of non-original mortgage transactions issued by the real estate registration observation in (Rawa) and promoted by the public agricultural equipment company. Anbar.
The department noted, "the formation of a working team consisting of the staff of the Commission's investigation office in the governorate, moved to the company's headquarters, and seized (16) real estate mortgage transactions issued by the Real Estate Registration Note in (Rawa), as its investigations led to those transactions according to which a seizure sign was placed on real estate. They do not exist on the ground, and that the transactions that supported the validity of the issuance of seizure books and the priorities related to the subject were forged and addressed in books according to which loans were granted in the amount of (2,400,000,000) two billion dinars."
And it indicated that "the seizure process led to the organization of the office's staff, a fundamental seizure report with the seized items, and presented to the competent investigative judge, who decided to issue arrest warrants against the seven defendants responsible for the implementation of those loans (employees and beneficiaries), based on the provisions of Article (318) of the Penal Code."
Last July, the commission had seized cases of major waste of public money that accompanied the process of acquiring two properties in the governorate, the value of which approached (29,000,000,000) billion dinars.
