{Local: Al Furat News} The Minister of Culture announced, on Wednesday, full readiness to hold the Saudi Cultural Week in Baghdad
And the ministry stated in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that "the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Hassan Nazim, announced the readiness of the Ministry of Culture to hold the Saudi Cultural Week in Baghdad, according to previous meetings and agreements with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, and a discussion took place to discuss details Cultural Week.
The statement added, "This came during the minister's reception today, Wednesday, in his official office at the ministry's headquarters, to the Iraqi ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Sattar Hadi Al-Janabi, while the minister thanked Ambassador Al-Janabi and his work team for their efforts in making the distinguished Iraqi participation in the Riyadh International Book Fair a success."
They discussed inviting Saudi poets and writers to participate in the new version of the Marbad Festival, facilitating their entry, and the impact of this participation in strengthening relations between the two countries. The International Theater in its second session, which is held by the Department of Cinema and Theatre.
He added, "The ambassador discussed increasing Iraqi participation in Saudi events and festivals academically, literary and artistic, and sustaining momentum in this context and what these participations represent in changing the false stereotype about Iraq's status as an unsafe country." The Minister with the Ambassador in the hall of the first portrait exhibition of the Iraqi Photographers Union.
