, Chairman of the Investment Authority in Najaf, Durgham Hadi Kiko, announced, on Wednesday, a set of instructions for all investors in residential complexes.
Kiko said, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it: "We always strive to protect the private and public money of citizens from the beneficiaries of investment housing complexes and protect them from the risk of speculation and manipulation of housing unit prices, so we issued a set of instructions to all investors in residential complexes."
He added: "We obligated investors not to change the prices of housing units and according to what is mentioned and stipulated in the economic feasibility that the investor presented in advance, and that all prices and installments are in Iraqi dinars only, and not to change the price or the amounts of payments and installments except with the approval of the Investment Authority, and that the contract between the beneficiary is approved ( The buyer) of the housing units and the investor is exclusively inside the authority and not outside it to preserve the rights of both parties, including the beneficiary of fraud and fraud.
He continued: "To follow up the investors' implementation and commitment to these instructions, we issued an administrative order to form a committee headed by the Vice-President of the Authority, Engineer Firas Al-Issawi, and the membership of two of the Authority's employees, to follow up the investors' commitment to the economic feasibility by following up their sales record and making sure that no other costs or prices are added to the beneficiary citizens other than what is It is mentioned in the economic feasibility and contracts, and if the investor’s violation is proven, Article 28 of the amended Investment Law No. 13 of 2006 will be applied, which stipulates the imposition of initial and final warnings, then fines, and ends with the withdrawal of the investment license from violators.
