Finance: Recovering about a thousand government properties from violators

On Monday, the Iraqi Ministry of Finance announced the recovery of about 1,000 properties belonging to the state that had been overrun by "violators ".
And she said in a statement, that a direct directive was issued by the Minister of Finance, Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi, during which the State Real Estate Department was able to recover nearly more than a thousand properties belonging to the Iraqi state, which was occupied by people who trespassed on public money from different sides .
She pointed out that "the procedure falls within the ministry's plan to recover all infringed real estate in coordination with the Integrity Commission and the Real Estate Registration Department ."
And she indicated that "the plan to restore these properties targets all properties belonging to the Iraqi state, inside and outside Iraq, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ."
She pointed out that "this step comes in implementation of the comprehensive economic reform program adopted by the white paper in maximizing the aspect of public revenues and limiting cases of exploitation of state resources ."
