Iraqi Finance: The recovery of more than 1,000 properties belonging to the state, which were occupied by transgressors
And she said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that a direct directive was issued by the Minister of Finance, Ali Abdul Amir Allawi, during which the State Real Estate Department was able to recover nearly more than a thousand properties belonging to the Iraqi state, which was occupied by people who trespassed on public money from different sides.
The statement indicated that "the procedure is part of the ministry's plan to recover all infringed properties in coordination with the Integrity Commission and the Real Estate Registration Department."
And she indicated that "the plan to recover these properties targets all properties belonging to the Iraqi state inside and outside Iraq in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
She pointed out that "this step comes in implementation of the comprehensive economic reform program adopted by the white paper in maximizing the aspect of public revenues and limiting cases of exploitation of state resources."
