Iraqi foreign remittances exceed $165 million
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed a decrease in its sales to reach 193 million, and 551 thousand and 357 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, Wednesday, which sales amounted It contains 204 million and 730 thousand and 417 US dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that most of the bank's sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 166 million and 31 thousand and 357 dollars, while the remaining amount of 27 million and 520 thousand dollars went in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 26 banks have fulfilled requests to enhance balances abroad, 9 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 131 mediation companies.
