The leader of the Sadrist movement, Issam Hussein, revealed, on Friday, the outcomes of the meeting of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, with a number of independent candidates who won the elections that took place on the tenth of last month.
Hussein told "Mawazine News" that "Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr's speech was clear regarding the formation of the majority government, which is his next project," noting that "Al-Sadr assured the independents that he would not force anyone to do anything."
He added, "Al-Sadr clarified his idea of political consensus, which led to failure and corruption," noting that "there are real intentions of the independents to join and support the government of the political majority."
He pointed out that "the Sadrist movement is walking quietly towards forming a government, and that there are always surprises that change the scales of political action." Ended 29/R77
