“Azm” charts the shape of the next government: We are not in actual rapprochement with the Sadrists or the coordination framework
Shafaq News/ The "Azm" coalition led by Khamis al-Khanjar confirmed on Sunday that it is close to all the winning blocs in the elections and stands at the same distance from the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement, indicating that its alliance with the political blocs is premature.
The leader of the coalition and the winner of the elections, Muhammad al-Abed Rabbo, told Shafaq News Agency, "The Alliance of Azm is close to everyone and stands at the same distance from them, and there is no actual rapprochement with the Sadrists, nor the coordination framework."
He pointed out that "the political movement towards the alliance of the largest bloc and the formation of the government will begin officially after the announcement of the final results and the approval of the Federal Court on them."
Al-Abed Rabbo pointed out that "the next government will be formed according to the framework of the political majority, with the presence of some political blocs that will be on the opposition front and will not participate in the new government."
The "Azm" alliance comes as the second largest Sunni bloc winning the elections, after the "Progress" alliance led by former Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the tension between the two alliances before the elections on the tenth of last October, and the tension escalated during the electoral campaign.
However, the atmosphere calmed down after the elections, and the dispute ended with a preliminary agreement between the leaders of the two coalitions, "Advance" Muhammad al-Halbousi and "Azm" Khamis al-Khanjar in the Jordanian capital Amman, which includes the distribution of positions due for the year among the leaders of the two coalitions, according to what an informed political source revealed to Shafaq News Agency at the end of the month. last October.
