On Monday, the Council of Ministers agreed to write off the amounts owed by the Ministry of Oil for the supply of gas oil to private generators.
And the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers stated in a statement, “Nass” received a copy of it, (November 29, 2021), that “the Council agreed to write off the sums owed by the Ministry of Oil for supplying quantities of gas oil product from the ministry to private generators for free.”
The statement added, "The decision stipulates that the Ministry of Finance will deduct the amounts mentioned in the tables of the Ministry of Oil from the share of the public treasury owed by the Oil Products Distribution Company."
