Cabinet spokesman Hassan Nazim confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Council of Ministers has set next Saturday as a date to hold a celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi state.
Nazim said in the weekly press conference, that “the Council of Ministers has set next Saturday as a date to hold a celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi state,” noting that “the Council of Ministers directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take the necessary measures to encourage Iraqi immigrants to return voluntarily.”
Ey indicated that "the process of returning the Gilgamesh tablet with some other artifacts is the largest of the two recovery operations during the past period," adding that "the Council of Ministers called for encouraging employees and auditors of state departments to receive Corona vaccines."
He continued, "The Cabinet decided to secure funds for the Ministry of Health to complete the requirements of the Najaf Teaching Hospital," noting that "the cabinet voted to secure funds to deliver electricity to the pumps of Lake Tharthar, and authorized the Ministry of Finance to secure the necessary funds to complete the large Samawa water project."
