, a member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, confirmed, Thursday, that the Federal Court has the authority to reject the election results if it is satisfied with the appeals submitted, stressing that the court considers the appeals in whole and not in part.
Al-Baldawi said, "The judiciary in the Electoral Commission considered the appeals submitted by individuals without considering the total appeals on the entire electoral process."
He added that "there are those who are trying to link Article 93 Seventh, which indicates that the duty of the Federal Court to ratify the results of the elections," adding that "it is more important and does not understand the constitution who believes that the consideration of appeals is not within the powers of the Federal Court."
He explained, "The appeals submitted by the coordination framework are not partial but total appeals to the entire electoral process," noting that "the Federal Court listened to the framework's lawyer and referred part of the appeals to experts for advice." Ended 29 / h
