General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers revealed, today, Wednesday, that a number of vital and strategic projects have been presented to the government for inclusion in the Sino-Iraqi agreement.
The secretariat's spokesman Haider Majid said, "The projects that will be concluded between Iraq and China will be carried out through the Iraqi-Chinese agreement," noting that "a contract for the development of Nasiriyah International Airport was signed with the Chinese side, and the cornerstone was laid by the Prime Minister during the month of June." .

Very advanced stages in this matter, and during the next few days, the contract will be signed with two Chinese companies that have been approved by the Council of Ministers."
He added, "There are many vital and strategic projects before the government for inclusion in the Sino-Iraqi agreement," noting that "there are special projects, including the rehabilitation and development of Sadr City, which contains 90,000 housing units, and there is an idea of referring it to Chinese companies, in addition to vital projects."
