The Central Bank's foreign transfers rose to more than 170 million dollars
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed an increase in foreign remittances, despite the decrease in its sales in general by 1.95% to reach 201 million, and 729 thousand and 766 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, when sales amounted to 205 million and 86 thousand and 190 US dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that most of the bank's sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 173 million and 899 thousand and 766 dollars, while the remaining amount of 27 million and 830 thousand dollars went in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 26 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, and 8 banks have responded to cash requests, in addition to 149 mediating companies.
