[size=45]The Minister of Peshmerga in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Shoresh Ismail, met, on Monday, in Erbil, with the US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Tueller and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Serbst Lazgin, the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Lieutenant-General Jabar Yawar, advisers and a number of senior officers in the Peshmerga with senior American military advisers. And the two sides discussed the latest developments and events in the region and the mechanisms of confronting ISIS at the present time.[/size]
[size=45]The Ministry of Peshmerga said in a statement, that the Minister of Peshmerga, Shorsh Ismail, considered that the continued coordination and cooperation of the US army with the Peshmerga is a continuation of the friendship between the Kurdish and American people.[/size]
[size=45]Ismail added, "At the beginning of the war against ISIS terrorists, the American army, along with the Peshmerga forces and the coalition countries, played a major and influential role in defeating and pursuing terrorists in the entire region."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that "Kurdistan Region looks with interest at US aid and coordination, and that friendship with the US side develops further to protect interests, security and safety in the region and the region."[/size]

[size=45]Ismail confirmed that the Ministry of Peshmerga "has previously issued repeated warnings of the return of ISIS elements to carry out attacks."[/size]
[size=45]Regarding reforms in the Ministry of Peshmerga, the Minister of Peshmerga explained that "reform is an inevitable and continuous process, despite the presence of many obstacles and obstacles in front of it, but the will to succeed and implement this process is stronger and the ministry will not stop its implementation."[/size]
[size=45]The statement stated that the Minister of Peshmerga and the US ambassador to Iraq had fruitful discussions on the problems facing the reform process, and in this regard, the US ambassador reiterated that his country will continue to seek to remove the obstacles facing the reform process in the Peshmerga forces.[/size]
