Finance Minister Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi warned of Iraq's continued dependence on oil during the next ten years.
Allawi said in statements followed by NRT Arabia (December 25, 2021), that "a very great danger and threat facing Iraq in the medium terms and within 10 years from now, due to the continued dependence on oil, which constitutes more than 90% of the state's revenues."
The minister pointed out to "the need to take harsh reforms from now on."
