In just one month, Iran's foreign trade reached 13.172 million tons, valued at $8.951 billion, with a price growth of 25 percent.
"The country's foreign trade amounted to 13.172 million tons, with a value of 8.951 billion dollars, with a price growth of 25 percent and a quantity of 3 percent on an annual basis," said Ruhollah Latifi, a spokesman for the Iranian Customs Authority.
Latifi indicated that Iranian exports in March amounted to 9.593 million tons, worth $4.041 billion, with a quantitative growth of 0.5% and a price increase of 23%.
He referred to the most important export markets this month, noting that China topped the ranking with 1.977 million tons worth 1.126 billion dollars, Iraq 1.839 million tons worth 649 million dollars, followed by the UAE 1.013 million tons worth 499 million dollars, Turkey 338 thousand tons worth 363 million dollars and Afghanistan 269 A thousand tons at 141 million dollars.
