The Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi, revealed on Thursday that Baghdad is close to hosting the fifth round of negotiations between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Masjedi said in a televised interview that "Al-Maalouma" followed, and so far, four rounds between Saudi Arabia and Iran have taken place in Baghdad under the auspices of Iraq, and that the fifth round, which will be launched soon, will also be in Baghdad.
He added that "Iran is looking forward to reaching positive results between it and Saudi Arabia through these talks," noting that "the two sides have a very positive view of those negotiations."
