, a member of the State of Law coalition, Ghazi al-Aboudi, said, on Saturday, that the leader of his coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, is "the most popular" in the Iraqi street, and that the coalition will nominate him for the position of prime minister, while he considered the Shiite House agreement before the first parliament session "a certain thing."
In an exclusive interview with Mawazine News, Al-Aboudi said that "political discussions are continuing, and it is certain that the largest bloc will remain inside the Shiite house."
Al-Aboudi pointed out that "the new political agreement will exclude all previous opinions and positions, and after discussions with Mr. Al-Sadr, a certain formula will be produced."
He added, "The meetings did not address the proposal of a name to assume the duties of the prime minister yet," continuing that "Al-Maliki is the most popular in the Iraqi street, and that the rule of law will nominate him to take over the position." Ended 29/N33
