Lithuanian Foreign Minister: We will have cooperation in various fields with Iraq

"I hope that there will be cooperation between Lithuania and Iraq to find a solution to the migration tragedy by strengthening trust between the two countries, which leads to strengthening trust also between Iraq and the European Union," Landsbergis said in a press conference with his Iraqi counterpart Fouad Hussein during his visit to Baghdad.
He referred to "Iraq's role as the first country to stop flights to Belarus," noting that "Iraq is an excellent model for dealing and building confidence."
For his part, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein said, "We were honored to receive the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, and we discussed with him bilateral relations and Iraqi immigration."
