, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Mahmoud Khoshnaw, confirmed, on Sunday, that the Democratic Party has not announced its position so far regarding the position of the President of the Republic, and whether it is a rejection of the same position or the candidate of the Union.
Khoshnaw said in an interview with "Mawazine News", "The matter is still ambiguous so far regarding the candidates for the position of President of the Republic," noting that "attempts are still continuing to reach common understandings between the two main Kurdish parties."
Khoshnaw pointed out that "the National Union hopes that the picture of the political position of the Democratic Party will become clear in the coming days," noting that "it is not possible to predict the situation as far as it relates to the response of the opposite party." Ended 29/A 4
