The Information/Baghdad…
The Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs and Planning have set new standards to determine exactly who the poor are and how to distribute resources to this segment, in order to truly target and not violate their rights.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor, Abeer Chalabi, said in a statement seen by "The Information", that "there is high coordination with the Ministry of Planning for the purpose of identifying the poor and addressing the problem of poverty and the categories covered by improving income by adopting new criteria to determine who the poor are."
Chalabi added that "the ministry continues on a daily basis to search and investigate poor and needy families, which include among their members the helpless, people with disabilities, and women in the poorest cities and regions, in order to include them in the services it provides and as permitted by law." finished/25
