, the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faeq Zaidan, described the current political situation as "the most complex since the change of the political system in 2003 until now."
Zaidan said in his speech at the celebration of the Iraqi Judiciary Day, which was held in Baghdad today, Sunday, that "we renew the call for the political forces to respect what is issued by the judiciary, even if it is contrary to their opinion."
He added that "the judiciary should continue to say the word of truth and not fear the blame of the blamers," stressing that "the complete independence of the judiciary has given it greater power in maintaining the correct application of the law."
Zidan pointed out that "the judiciary is the measure of goodness in nations, and it is the measure of greatness in them." Ended 29/A 4
