Information/ Diyala …
A government official confirmed, on Sunday, the existence of a severe fuel crisis besieging 100,000 Iraqis in the second largest city in Diyala Governorate.
Adnan al-Tamimi, the former head of the Muqdadiya District Council (45 km northeast of Baquba), said in an interview with "The Information", that "a severe fuel crisis, whether for oil or other oil derivatives, including gasoline, is besieging 100,000 people in Muqdadiyah, the second largest city in Diyala."
Al-Tamimi added, "The collapse of the electricity system has increased the suffering of the people in a very severe and severe way," noting that "the queues at the gas stations have become a painful daily scene and another suffering for the people who are living successive crises at the present time."
He pointed out that "a state of popular anger prevails in Muqdadiya due to the unknown fuel crisis," stressing "the need for the relevant authorities to intervene to avoid major problems." finished/ 25 f
