The Kurdistan Democratic Party said, today, Monday, that the goal of all the KDP’s meetings with the rest of the Kurdish parties is to prepare a Kurdish program and find a common opinion on the future of Iraq.
A KDP spokesman said in a statement: "The goal of all KDP meetings with the rest of the Kurdish parties is to prepare a Kurdish program and find a common opinion on the future of Iraq."
He added, "Our goal is to form a joint delegation from all Kurdish parties," noting that "the representatives of the Patriotic Union did not have the powers to take a decision, as they withdrew without our knowledge."
He pointed out that "the position of the President of the Republic is not owned by one party or one person."
