The General Authority of Customs announced today, Tuesday, the launch of its first electronic services.
The Director-General of the authority, Shaker Mahmoud Al-Zubaidi, stated in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the electronic customs inquiry service for wheels has been launched on the authority's official website," noting that "this new service will allow citizens to inquire about customs transactions procedures for wheels, without the need to to the trouble of reviewing the authority.
He added, "The launch of this new service comes within the framework of the Iraqi government's direction towards strengthening e-governance and reducing instances of momentum when citizens review official departments and bodies."
He pointed out that "the new service is in line with the standards and scope of the World Customs Organization 2022." Ended 29/N33
