On Wednesday, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Burhan Raouf, considered that Hoshyar Zebari is not worthy of the post of President of the Republic of Iraq.
"It is among the basics of the President of the Republic that he be an honest, respected person who is referred to with good conduct and behavior," Raouf told Al-Mawma Agency.
He added that "the specifications do not apply to Zebari, who was sacked on charges of corruption, and this is a legal violation, and members of Parliament must not perjury, and they must be at the good expectations of those responsible for them."
Political and popular forces reject the candidacy of Hoshyar Zebari for the position of the Presidency of the Republic, due to the presence of corruption files on him.
