The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Rafiq Al-Salihi, indicated, on Wednesday, that the 2022 budget includes a project to improve electricity in all governorates of Iraq.
Al-Salihi said in a statement to the Information Agency, that “there is a project within the 2022 budget to improve the electricity situation in all Iraqi governorates, especially in Basra Governorate,” noting that “the electricity file will be on the parliament’s table.”
He added, "We in the House of Representatives will improve electricity after recording great hours of firefighting in most of Iraq's governorates."
The head of the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, Representative Hussein Hashem Al-Amiri, criticized, earlier, the deterioration of the reality of electrical energy in Iraq during these days and the continuous interruptions that exacerbated the suffering of the citizens, especially in light of the severe cold weather in the winter season.
