A report detailing financial expenditures in the fight against Corona in the Kurdistan Region
Shafaq News/ The Minister of Health of Kurdistan Region, Saman Al-Barzanji, presented a detailed report on the outbreak of the Corona virus during a cabinet meeting, the new mutator "Omicron", and preventive measures and measures during the last meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Region.
In the report, which was reviewed by Shafak News Agency, he said, "The Kurdistan Region is a successful model in the world in combating the Corona virus."
He added that "more than 100 billion Iraqi dinars have been spent during the past two years in confronting Corona."
According to the statistics presented by the minister, out of a total of 412,493 people infected with the epidemic, 46,845 were admitted to hospitals until the issuance of this report, and 386,961 patients were fully treated.
Today, Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers held its weekly meeting headed by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
