The mayor of Ramadi district in Anbar province, Ibrahim Al-Janabi, announced, on Wednesday, the imminent opening of an arena for trade exchange with Jordan, west of Anbar.
Al-Janabi said in a statement to the Information Agency, "The technical and engineering cadres have accomplished an advanced rate in the process of establishing a commercial exchange yard with Jordan in the Rutba district, west of Anbar, within the local government's plan to establish a yard for unloading and loading of goods to activate the cargo transport fleet and address all obstacles that prevent recovery." The economic reality by facilitating the task of entering goods to the western regions and from there to other provinces.”
He added, "The concerned authorities have completed the construction of the specialized buildings in the commercial exchange square, and it remains only to equip the square with electric power, with the completion of the rest of the services so that the concerned authorities can open it in the middle of this year."
Al-Janabi explained, “The establishment of an exchange arena with Jordan will contribute to employing about 10,000 unemployed people, as well as consolidating the state’s imports and raising the economic reality of the governorate,” stressing that “the governorate relies on this project as a successful project from an economic point of view and reducing the phenomenon of unemployment.” . finished/ 12a
