    [size=30]Today, Tuesday (February 8, 2022), the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, confirmed the possibility of including the financial dues of the farmers of the Kurdistan Region and the rest of the governorates of Iraq for the past years in the draft federal budget law for 2022 through transfers and exchange doors.[/size]

    [size=30]The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah Ahmed, chaired an expanded meeting in the Constitutional Hall today, Tuesday, 2/8/2022, with the Ministers of Trade, Alaa Ahmed Al-Jubouri and Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, and a number of representatives from various parliamentary blocs, in the presence of the hosting requester, Representative Haider Al-Shamkhi.[/size]

    [size=30]During the meeting, they discussed issues and files facing the trade and agricultural sectors and ways to remove obstacles and problems, activate agricultural initiatives, provide items for the ration card and food basket for poor families, and deliver basic foodstuffs to camps for the displaced.[/size]

    [size=30]According to a statement issued by his media office, the Vice-President of the Council stressed the importance of maintaining levels of food security in the country, and overcoming the difficulties and obstacles facing the commercial and agricultural sectors with the necessary laws and legislation.[/size]
