, on Wednesday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party resolved its order regarding its candidate for the presidency of the Federal Republic.
The party's spokesman, Mahdi Al-Faili, confirmed in an exclusive interview with "Mawazi News" that the next president of Iraq will be Hoshyar Zebari.
And that there is realistic evidence confirming the grievances of Zebari in the recent Federal Court decision.
He pointed out that the reality of the situation confirms the grievances of Zebari, as the House of Representatives Committee was composed of the Commission for Integrity, Accountability and Justice, the Ministry of Interior, and the Criminal Court, all of which acquitted Zebari of any charges against him.
Al-Faili said that these parties approved the name of Zebari among the candidates, and if there were any doubts, his name would not have been approved.
And the Federal Supreme Court set, earlier today, Wednesday, the date for pleading the case against accepting the election of Hoshyar Zebari for the presidency of the republic.
A brief statement by the court, which Mawazine News received a copy of, said, "The Federal Supreme Court has set next Sunday, February 13, as the date for the pleading regarding the lawsuit filed against accepting the candidacy of Hoshyar Zebari, numbered 17 federally. Ended 29/R77
