, on Thursday, the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri issued a statement regarding the "bloody incidents" that took place in Maysan Governorate. .
Al-Amiri said, "The bloody incidents that the dear Maysan Governorate is witnessing is a matter of sorrow and anxiety, and leads to robbing a sense of security and stability. Our dear brothers in the Sadrist movement and Asa’ib and their clan and political extensions, to show the highest levels of self-restraint, awareness of legal responsibility, and insight into the consequences of matters because blood only brings blood.”
Al-Amiri added, "The local fighting for which the enemies spent billions and did not succeed, may be presented to them in this way for free and on a platter of gold. We warn our brothers against being drawn into sedition and yielding to feelings of anger. The brave one is he who endures injustice and has patience to inject forbidden blood or to deter a lurking enemy."
He continued, "We are ready for any endeavor to defuse the crisis and support the efforts of benevolent people to overcome this crisis, and I respond with thanks and admiration to the speech of moderation and calm to the dear brothers, Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr and Sheikh Qais Khazali, and I call on dignitaries, clan elders and wise people to adhere to dignity and foresight and to see the hidden fingers that enter into Such unfortunate incidents turn into severe settling of scores, and we call upon all the heroic security services to take their desired role with all seriousness and power in order to establish security, impose law and restore the prestige of the state.
