Shafaq News/ The delegations of the Sadrist movement led by Muqtada al-Sadr, and Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement led by Qais Khazali held a meeting on Friday to contain the tensions between the two sides in Maysan Governorate.
The meeting, which is the first of its kind between the two sides, was held in Maysan after the decision of the leaders of the current and Asaib League to form the two delegations.
After the meeting, a joint statement was issued by the two delegations, which was received by Shafak News Agency, which included the following points:
1- We condemn and denounce all murders in the governorate.
2- We support and support the judiciary and the security services in order to take the largest role in enforcing the law and reducing crime.
3- We stand at the same distance from everyone.
4- Continuing the work of the committee, following up on the investigation and uncovering the perpetrators in order to take their just and legal punishment.
5- We call on the people of Maysan Governorate to be patient in order to miss the opportunity for those who want to stir up strife between the sons of the one father (Muhammad Al-Sadr).
6- We hope the media will exercise caution and accuracy in transmitting news from its correct sources and not from what is published by malicious social networking sites.
