    Information/Baghdad..
On Sunday, the economic expert, Nabil Al-Ali, described the project to extend an oil pipeline to Jordan as an economic failure, indicating that the agreement to extend the pipeline is political and has nothing to do with the economy.
Al-Ali said in a statement to / the information / that “Al-Kazemi’s government agreement with Jordan to extend the oil pipeline to Aqaba is a political project and has no economic feasibility, and Iraq will bear large financial costs,” noting that “the distance between the sources of oil production for the Iraqi fields is very far and amounts to about 1,700 km. And there is no economic feasibility in it, but that Jordan is the only party that will benefit from this agreement, especially since the agreement does not incur Jordan any expenses for its term within the Iraqi borders.”
He added, "The agreement to extend the pipeline to Aqaba is not part of an economic point of view, but is related to the political file." An increase of tenfold.” End / 25 AD
