The leader in the coordination framework, Jabbar Al-Maamouri, confirmed, on Sunday, that advanced understandings have been reached with the Sadrist movement on participating in the formation of the government.
Al-Maamouri said in a statement to "Information", "The framework represents important political forces in the Iraqi scene, and his participation in the next government is almost settled, pointing out that the understandings with the Sadrist movement have reached very advanced stages in the past days."
Al-Maamouri added, "90% of the problems of forming the next government are now settled, waiting for political consensus on some files, expecting an important breakthrough after resolving the presidency by putting forward a consensual candidate who enjoys the support of most effective political forces in the Iraqi scene."
