, MP from the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Chihod, warned on Friday against changing political norms, pointing out that it was not possible to hold a parliament session to elect the President of the Republic.
Chihod said in an exclusive interview with Mawazine News Agency, that the change in political norms does not serve the political process in Iraq, stressing that the largest bloc cannot leave the Shiite house.
He added that the tripartite alliance cannot hold the parliament session, which is related to electing the president of the republic, which requires the attendance of 220 deputies, and that this coalition does not constitute this number.
He pointed out that the independent representatives constitute an important axis in this equation, but they are divided, some with the framework and the other is independent. Ended 29/R77
