    The International Maritime Bureau warned Friday, the high number of incidents of abduction of small oil tankers in waters in Southeast Asia.

    The piracy monitoring center's Office of Maritime, based in Kuala Lumpur, it has been reported for at least six cases of kidnapping and theft of cargo carriers since last April in waters across Southeast Asia.

    He added that before the trend in the hijacking of vessels in order to seize the cargo, the majority of attacks in the region targeting ships vertical or boarding for petty theft.
