     Baghdad: Muhannad Abd al-Wahhab

Political observers and deputies believe that holding a tripartite meeting that brings together al-Sadr, Barzani and al-Halbousi may enhance the chances of getting out of the political crisis, which in a way means a resolution of the issue obstructed by differences, which is the election of a president of the republic.
Independent MP Amir Al-Maamouri said: “The failure to set a date for a session of Parliament means the continuation of the state of political blockage and the failure of the blocs to agree on a satisfactory solution,” noting that “the failure to reach a political agreement will obstruct the next session of Parliament, even if the date is set.”
Al-Maamouri added in an interview, that “the independents bloc will be present at any session and will vote according to the law and on the principle of electing a candidate that the bloc sees as the national figure working for the interest of Iraq,” noting that “the first deputy, Hakim al-Zamili, set a session this week to host the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank, And there will be a session to summon the minister, if it is held, it will not be dedicated to electing the president of the republic, so so far there is no evidence of consensus regarding the personality of the next president.”
For his part, political analyst Adnan Al-Sarraj said: "Attempts to find a way out of the current crisis are non-existent, and the solution initiatives are almost limited, because they did not meet the response of the other parties, especially the initiative of Massoud Barzani and the coordination framework."
Al-Sarraj continued in an interview, "We are now facing an attempt by the Sadrist movement to arrange a meeting with Barzani and Al-Halbousi entitled the Triple Alliance," noting that "the meeting comes in the midst of many conflicts and contradictions in the political arena, as a result of the Federal Court's decision to nominate the President of the Republic with the presence and vote With 220 deputies, I think that this meeting will be decisive to break the political blockage.”
And regarding his expectations for the next stage in the event of the tripartite meeting, he said: “There are two possibilities: these forces go to hold the parliament session or to ally with the coordinating framework with the title that leads to a political majority and the absence of the blocking third.”
He added that "the meeting, at the discretion of the observers, will not achieve the desired purpose, so it was postponed and left without an appointment, and this indicates that the consensus on the principle of the tripartite meeting was not achieved, and those three parties still have to discuss the possibility of forming a bloc consisting of 220 deputies, to move away from the hypothesis of entering with the coordination framework in one block.
