Earth News/ The head of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi, assured the US ambassador, Matthew Tueller, today, Wednesday, that the challenges facing Iraq will be overcome just as it has overcome the challenge of terrorism, noting that the next stage requires more work and unification of efforts.
And his media office stated, in a statement received by Earth News, that "Al-Abadi received in his office the American ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Matthew Tueller, and the meeting witnessed a discussion of strengthening cooperation between Iraq and the United States of America in various fields and sectors, and the overall situation that the country is witnessing politically, security and economically, as well as about the many challenges facing the region.
Al-Abadi stressed that "the challenges that Iraq faces will be overcome just as it has overcome the challenge of terrorism when it achieved victory over ISIS terrorist gangs," noting that "the next stage requires more work and unifying efforts to provide services to citizens and move forward with building state institutions."
